With all of our deadlines and self imposed time-frames, life can be a bit overwhelming. Sometimes I need to catch myself whenever I find I’m stuck in someone else’s agenda. Anxiety can be a real disease in our culture and I believe it’s important that we each find our own way to mitigate these feelings. For me, photography is perfect. When life is moving at the speed of light all I need to do is click the shutter. I can freeze a moment in time and stay in that still for as long as I’d like. It’s something I can look back on and get lost in. When life gets rushed I can just look back at this shot and remember the sea foam playing over my feet and the warm afternoon light hugging my body.
